At the heart of Nish and The Knacks is Nishtha Sood, a versatile vocalist with 17 years of experience in both Western contemporary and Indian classical music. Holding a Diploma from the Global Music Institute and a bachelor's in Indian classical music from Prayag, Nishtha's voice effortlessly navigates diverse styles. Her recent performance with jazz icon Dianne Reeves further highlights her exceptional range and artistr.

On guitar, Garv Asnani infuses the band's sound with his unique blend of bluesy riffs, improvisational flourishes, and contemporary jazz elements. Influenced by legends like John Mayer and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Garv's captivating style is fueled by a fresh perspective and an insatiable thirst for musical exploration. His current foray into opera also adds a fascinating new dimension to his already diverse musical palette.

The rhythmic foundation of the band is expertly laid by Lohan Jayasekera on drums. Hailing from Sri Lanka, Lohan possesses an innate talent and a profound passion for improvised jazz. Recently honed his craft at the Global Music Institute, Lohan's unwavering ambition and precise drumming provide the intricate and compelling rhythms that drive Nish and The Knacks' innovative sound.

On the keys, Shomudro Ghosh from Delhi adds rich textures and intricate melodies. An alum of the Global Music Institute, Shomudro's journey reflects his dedication to both classical and contemporary musical expressions. His experience composing for film and performing at prominent venues showcases his versatility and further enriches the band's sonic landscape.

Finally, anchoring the ensemble with undeniable groove and seamless genre-bending is Chirag Gulati on bass. Renowned for his soulful blend of rock and jazz fusion, Chirag's playing provides a solid foundation while adding rich melodic layers that consistently elevate every project.
