About the Artists
Peerzada Muzamil is a development professional, documentary film-maker, writer, and an independent singer-songwriter based in Delhi. His work is featured in several Indian and international media and development spaces. Muzamil’s songwriting delves deep into the essence of personal and collective memory, capturing the essence of our inner and outer worlds as they evolve. As a tool to map and preserve memory for posterity, his Urdu Poetry and Kashmiri verse, blended with acoustics, talks about history, loss and hope.
Loose Puppets was formed by Adam and Vatsal in Chandigarh during their college days. The band stuck to their rock roots, playing hits that they grew up listening to while creating their original sound. Their music has been called a dreamy sonic journey of isolation and comfort, with heft and personality. This show at Depot48 is the band's attempt to bring some beloved rock tunes, and their original music, to a venue that put the spotlight on indie artists.
