Kaurava Kunda Betta Sunrise Trek is a lesser-known destination located at Chikkaballapur in Hariharapura village at a distance of 75 km from Bengaluru. This is a twin hill with one peak called “Kaurava betta” and another one as “Pandava betta”. Kauravas represent the descendants of Kuru clan, which includes Pandavas as well hence the name Kaurava Kunda. There is an ancient Shiva temple on the way to the peak. Once you reach the top, you can get stunned by the mesmerizing view of Nandi Hills and Skandagiri Hills, with clouds beneath you. The feeling is amazing with the adrenaline rushing down when the sun is rising up. It is a fun and challenging trek around Bangalore as we have to undertake a steep climb and pass through sandy paths, thorns, and shrubs to reach the peak of Kaurava Kunda. This hike is a bit slippery when rained. Kaurava Kunda is a perfect and peaceful trip away from the usual crowded places across Bangalore.

11:00 PM: Pick-up starts from Bangalore

04:00 AM: Reach base village of Kaurava kunda Betta Sunrise Trek by 4:30 AM

05:00 AM: Reach peak, relax and enjoy the sunrise

07:00 AM: Start descending after sunrise

09:00 AM: Have breakfast (Self Sponsored) at a nearby Hotel

11:00 PM: Head back to Bangalore

Once you’ve booked your tickets, we will reach out to you and provide you with more information like exact pick-up times, exact location, coach details and more on Whatsapp.

Any changes in Pick Up locations will be notified to the participants 10-12 hrs before the start of the trip.

Cleanliness is Our top most priority.Please do not throw trash out anywhere in the open.

Your equipment and equipment distributed are to be carried by self, like bags, sticks, etc.

As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. Washrooms are only available at the hotel campsite (you reach the hotel/campsite for breakfast).

Cancellation Policy:

0-15 Days Before Start Date: No refund will be provided; 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

15-30 Days Before Start Date: 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Once your refund is initiated, it will be credited to your account within 5-7 working days.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.

Cancellations are strictly subject to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Terms & Conditions:

To organize a trek we need at least 10/12 participants.

If the minimum number of bookings is not met, we will offer an alternative trek or reschedule.

Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious

Our accommodations are many times sleeping bags and Tents, Dormitories, rooms with beds and sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky.

The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.

The food provided will be basic delicious Vegetarian food.

Namma Trip shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewellery, etc.

We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.

You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations.

We have designated pick-up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transport to the desired pick-up point accordingly.

We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.

Namma Trip is not responsible if any injuries or accidents occur during the event.

Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, or causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport to the way back, Nammatrip does not hold the responsibility of terminated clients.

Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol is banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.

Cancellation / Refund is done by the third party based on their policies.

Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
