Imon Makes Friends ft. Amartya, Ayana, Sahil and Sarthak Opened by Subu

Imon is a Delhi-based singer-songwriter from Guwahati, who has been performing in venues across the country for over ten years. He has lately been looking for a group of musicians he can call family and he found one in a four passionate musicians with a proportionate terrible sense of humour, namely Amartya Ghosh (guitars), Ayana (bass), Sahil Asthana (keys) and Sarthak Pradhan (drums). Imon enjoys sharing a good story about time, hope, change and second chances. He primarily writes in English, but has also composed bilingual songs with verses in his mother tongue Assamese. The band offers new possibilities for Imon to explore and re-imagine his otherwise minimalistic vocal and lyric-centric compositions.

Subu writes and sings songs about conflicts of the heart, ponderings of the brain and wanderings of the mind. Through her musical musings, she attempts to make meaning and sense of the layered lives we all live and to find moments of resonance with the world. For this set, she will be accompanied by Ritwik De who is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and magician-musician
