Flavours from Kyoto with Chef Brehadeesh

For our next supper, we’re bringing Japan to the table with Flavours from Kyoto by Chef Brehadeesh Kumar, Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador for India! Having studied Japanese culture and cooking for several years, this exclusive menu clearly showcases his years of dedication to perfect technique and his Indian touch to the seasonal meal which is called Kaiseki.

Also known as Kyo-ryōri, it is a traditional Kyoto-style meal with elements from the Japanese culinary ideology of 72 micro-seasons. Following this with seasonal Indian ingredients, this supper is sure to impress!

The meal explores flavours and dishes beyond the well-known Ramen and Sushi. With its delicate nature, the cuisine is rooted in simplicity that enhances each dish’s ingredients. Enjoy the intricate cuts, shapes and flavours of dishes such as Prawns Kawariage (Fried Prawns), Aubergine Kabayaki Sushi and Cured Tomato and Avocado Sashimi and immerse yourself in the best of Japanese hospitality!

Experience the umami flavours and cooking styles that draw parallels with India’s Sattvic cooking - emphasising on minimal seasoning and elimination of alliums.

For dessert, taste a unique Japanese flavour with a surprise co-created ice cream by NIC Ice Creams and Chef Brehadeesh! NIC Ice Creams are known for using world class ingredients, adding a delicious end to the Kyo-ryōri.

The meal also features curated cocktails to compliment the flavours!

1. Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.

2. An Internet handling fee per ticket may be levied. Please check the total amount before payment

3. We recommend that you arrive at the venue on time to ensure the event starts on time for all participants. Since this is a group meal experience, we will wait until 12:45pm for majority of the group to reach before we start the meal with Chef.

4. We will not be able to wait beyond the start time mentioned in point 3.

5. Kindly note that this is a set menu by the chef and single portions of each course will be served.
